(2) the intelligent and networked development of industrial control equipment in the direction of digitalization, intellectualization and networking of instrument technology can further disperse and move down the function of process control, and realize the real "all digital" and "all distributed" control. in addition, because these intelligent instruments have the characteristics of high accuracy, good repeatability, high reliability, two-way communication and self diagnosis, the installation, use and maintenance of the system are more convenient.
(3) industrial control software is developing towards the direction of advanced control. widely using various advanced control and optimization technologies is the most effective, direct and valuable development direction for mining and improving the comprehensive performance of dcs, mainly including the development and industrial application of advanced control, process optimization, information integration, system integration and other software. in the future, industrial control software will continue to be standardized, networked, intelligent and open.
(4) the development of system architecture towards fcs only from the technical point of view, there are three ways to integrate fieldbus into dcs at this stage: ① the integration of fieldbus into i / o bus of dcs system -- through a fieldbus interface card hanging on the i / o bus of dcs, the information from fieldbus seen in dcs controller is like that from a traditional dcs device card. for example, the deltav system launched by fisher rosemount company adopts this integration scheme. ② the integration of fieldbus in the network layer of dcs system is to integrate fieldbus system on the higher network layer of dcs. this integration mode does not need to change the dcs control station, and has little impact on the original system. for example, the 302 series fieldbus products of smar company can realize the integration of its fieldbus function in the network layer of dcs system. ③ fieldbus and dcs system can be integrated in parallel through gateway - fieldbus and dcs can also be integrated in parallel through gateway bridge. for example, in the field bus system of supcon, hart protocol bridge is used to connect the system operation station and field instrument, so as to realize the communication function between the field bus equipment management system operation station and hart protocol field instrument.
dcs has always focused on control, which takes "decentralized" as the key word. however, modern development focuses more on the comprehensive management of the whole system information. in the future, "comprehensive" will become its key word. it will develop towards the comprehensive automation of the control system, operation system, planning system and management system. it will implement the strategic decision-making from the lowest level of real-time control and optimization control to the production scheduling, operation management and even the highest level highly automated integrated management and control system.
